Unfortunately we have seen a big drop in rental prices this quarter due to the glut of rental properties on the market.
Home owners who have been unable to sell their property have put them on the rental market causing saturation and in turn causing prices to drop as tenants are in a strong position.
Our advice would be to consider all offers during this period and not try to hold out for an extra few pounds a week. Historically this is the quiet period so it may be a better strategy to get someone in paying rent asap even if the rent is lower than previously.
